Burgess Community Development and FreshLo partnered to lead the redevelopment of 12300 East Albrook Drive, transforming a former RTD Park-and-Ride into the Montbello FreshLo Hub. As the project’s primary developers, Burgess and FreshLo navigated a rigorous three-year planning and environmental mitigation process to deliver this 97-unit affordable housing and commercial anchor. This landmark project, spearheaded by the Montbello Organizing Committee, features a full-service grocery store, cultural hub, and residential units ranging from 30% to 70% AMI, serving as a model for health-focused urban infill.
